S5 Workshop on Cultural Awareness
Date: 20th October 2022 and 27th October 2022
Target participants: All S5 students
Activities:
2 Indian guest speakers were invited to give a sharing to our S5 students on cultures in South Asia. Students have learnt about various festivals, languages, religions and art forms in different countries.
The talk was followed by hands-on workshops about rangoli, a traditional art form to celebrate Diwali in India. After this activity, students did not only bring home with them their masterpiece, but also learnt to respect other cultures with more thorough understanding.
